These Amusement and Theme Parks

And the world changed its view of this sleepy little Anaheim orange grove town forever. Walt Disney created a world inside this small town of Anaheim, a world that every kid wants to go to, that every adult also gets excited by, a world of fantasies and fun-filled galore, a world called Disneyland. Yes, Disneyland, the king of amusement and theme parks, is the perfect place for your next family vacation. In the world of amusements parks where Disney World and Disneyland certainly are kings, there are others like SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens that could be your next pick.

But unless you are the impulsive type who doesn’t mind a few surprises along the way, planning your next destination is the way to go. You want to know which amusement and theme park you will be going to―Disney World, Disneyland, SeaWorld, or Universal Studios. Difficult choices, but they have to be made.

How You Can Plan a Vacation to an Amusement or Theme Park

Your kids are pestering you about the cool new rides at Disneyland, or the fact that they want to watch the friendly dolphins at SeaWorld―what are you going to do? You are going to make sure that your next family vacation is at a theme park or amusement park. Here are some tips to help you.
When To Go: So, if you want your next vacation to be at Disneyland, you better start planning now, because if you plan on going during the holiday season, be prepared for overcrowded airports and endless lines. So, why not plan ahead. Airplane tickets can be bought well in advance and are cheaper that way. Also consider booking hotels, rental cars, and whatever else you need at least a week in advance, so that you do not run helter-skelter for rooms or cars. And if it’s possible, try not to go during peak season which would be around school holidays, school vacations, and summer; this way you can avoid the rush and also save big bucks on off-season discounts.
Where To Stay: The first thing you need to decide is whether you want to stay at an on-property resort (which are aplenty) or stay offsite (which are in abundance). It could be cheaper if you pick an off-site hotel, but if you want to enjoy all the rides at any time of the day without worrying about getting back to the hotel room for a change of clothes and what not, choose a hotel on the property of the theme park or amusement park. One of the benefits of staying at an on-property hotel is the great jump-to-the-front-of-the-line benefit.
How Long To Stay: Here comes another big question, how long to stay. This could depend on a lot of factors from budgets to time availability. Depending on how long you are taking for your holiday you can visit that many parks in the area. If you are in Central Florida for 10 days you can visit most of the theme parks in the area. But remember to space it out and give yourself time to enjoy other activities and some relaxation.
Resources: Check for resources for some great deals. The Internet is a great place to start. There are thousand deals available online. You can choose vacation packages that could save you a lot of money. Or you can choose deals which offer a fixed charge and are all-inclusive. Maybe you are lucky to get coupons from milk cartons or shopping at the supermarket.

Although it is known as the family beach, one interesting factor you can note here is, one particular stretch known as the Gay Beach and also a flag to denote the same. At this beach, you can find the traditional drinks such as Cachaca and the Caipirinha along with beer.
Pipa Beach
It is located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. It attracts people because of its fine white sand and cliffs that offer a gorgeous view of the place. It has a vast number of fine restaurants and nightclubs that are run mostly by foreigners. This beach offers a more cosmopolitan crowd.

Ponta Verde Beach
It is located in Maceió, in the city of Alagoas. Ponta Verde also remains to be the most frequented beach of Brazil. It’s a popular spot because of the reefs, which contain tiny ponds that are formed during low tides. It is frequented the most because of a certain part of land that projects out of the sea. This land is covered entirely with a green cover.
Toque-Toque Grande
It is located in the city of Sao Sebastiao. Although Grande means big in Portuguese, this beach is barely 300m long. The Toque-Toque Grande island is quite uninhabited by people. This can prove to be an ideal location for those wanting isolation and have a love for scuba diving.
Jericoacoara Beach
It is known for offering some of the most spectacular views in Brazil. It is located around 300 kms from Fortaleza. It is ideal for those who are looking for something different. It also proves to be an ideal spot for surfing.

The White Beaches of the Philippines

Located in Southeast Asia, in the western Pacific Ocean, Philippines is a hot and humid country, with maximum temperatures going up to about 40° C. It has a coastline that is double the length of the US coastline. The locals are friendly and traveling is cheap. One doesn’t need to stay in expensive hotels, as there are plenty of downtown inns and lodges that are available. The country is home to some of the world’s best and longest white sand beaches.

White Beach, Boracay Island
This island is located on the northwestern tip of Panay, Western Visayas. The White Beach is 2.5 miles long, and is hailed as one of the finest in the world. It is also the most famous one in the country with its white, calm, and crystal clear warm water. The island is now highly commercialized, with a number of hotels, bars, shopping areas, and even ATMs are established on this beach. Snorkeling and diving are its other attractions. Traveling on this island is cheap. One can even rent a bike and ride through the entire area. The beach is ideal for people who want to enjoy relaxing, and yet, do not want to get away from urban conveniences.
El Nido, Palawan
It has marvelous seascapes and landscapes that are probably the best in the country. Hence, Palawan Island is often referred to as the Island of the Gods. It is home to a number of tropical birds, and is quite famous for its Nido soup that is available in Chinese restaurants. It also has the Secret Beach, which is accessible only by swimming through a narrow hole.
Panglao, Bohol
Although small in size, the island of Panglao has a lot to offer. It is the best for diving and vacationing. The island is also known for its rich biodiversity, and has one of the clearest beaches called Alona Beach. Some good sightseeing places include the Chocolate Hills, huge waterfalls, and the bustling capital city called Tagbilaran.
Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte
Located in the northern part of Philippines, Pagudpud is also sometimes called the “Boracay of North.” It has white sand beaches that are windy, just like those in Hawaii. Wave surfing is a popular sport here because of the large waves on this coastline. Maira-ira Beach is secluded, and offers blue water and breathtaking views.

Siargao Island
Located in the province of Surigao del Norte, this island is known for its curling high waves, that sometimes rise to a height 9 to 12 feet. The place is best suited for surfing, and is host to the surfing competition, the Siargao Cup. Tourists can also enjoy exploring the island’s tunnels and caves.
Malapascua Island, Cebu
A few years back, this island, which lies north of Cebu, was unheard of. It was not even on the municipal map. Today, it is the most preferred beach destination of this nation. Diving is the best option, as you get to see caves, undersea biodiversity, and if lucky, even sharks. The only drawback is the limited variety of available food. It is a small island, and you can also cover its entire area by walking.

Planning an Adventure Vacation in the US

The definition of adventure varies for all of us. For some, it’s nearing the supreme power through meditation, and for some, it’s the experience of the adrenaline rush. Whatever maybe our expectations from these adventure vacation ideas, these 5 destinations will surely get you close to them. Let’s check out what these best adventure vacations in US have in store for us!

Grand Canyon, Arizona
River rafting through the Grand Canyon can be one of the best adventure vacations for you this year. You must have already heard stories of people going rafting on the Colorado river, which flows through the Grand Canyon. The gigantic beauty of the Canyon makes this adventure not only adventurous but a memory you’re bound to cherish your whole life. While you’re at the Canyon, you can also check out other adventure sports, such as rafting and paragliding, which are again common at the Grand Canyon. While you’re there, make the most out of it!

Scuba Diving, Hawaii
This is my personal favorite when it comes to the adventure vacations in America, and the entire world too. Scuba diving can be an experience in its own, and at the Hawaiian islands, it just gets better! Though there are more than a hundred islands in Hawaii, the ones visited most for scuba diving are Kauai, Oahu, Ni’ihau, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Hawaii (the island) and Kahoolawe. Avoid the islands of Ni’ihau, Molokai and Lanai if you’re a beginner. The marine life at Hawaii is one of the most beautiful in the entire world. Scuba diving is done extensively at these islands, so you don’t have to worry about finding company. You can also visit Mt. Kilauea, globally the most active volcano.
